Our Book Lists
page has links to online book clubs and book
discussion sites as well as review sources
available on the Internet.
NoveList is a
reader advisory service providing enhanced
subject access to over 74,000 fiction titles.
It allows the user to search for books by a
particular author, in a series, or by plot. Please
note that this services helps to identify a
particular published work but does not search
the Library's database. To determine if the
Library has a particular title identified in
NoveList, please search the Library's
catalog. NoveList can be searched
from the Library and from home.
The OnLine Book Club is a free service.
Each day, Monday through Friday, you'll
receive an e-mail with a portion of a chapter
from a popular book. The daily e-mail takes
about 5 minutes to read. A new book
starts every Monday. The
purpose of the Club is to introduce our
patrons to a variety of books and to reach
people in the community who think they don't
have time to read. Click the "Online
Book Club" link to begin signing up
for this exciting, fun new way to find a good
book to read.

Talking Book Club provides free library
service to Texans of all ages who are unable
to read standard print material due to visual,
physical, or reading disabilities-whether
permanent or temporary. Materials are
available in different formats including
cassettes, records, and in Braille and large
print. Items are delivered right to your
door and returned through the mail free of
charge. The program offers more than 80,000
titles in fiction and nonfiction, plus 80
national magazines for adults and children.

The
Circle of Success Bond Program provides
library assistance to seniors and others who
are unable to come to the library.
Through Volunteer support, the Library hopes
to reach out to many of our citizens in
rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and
corrective facilities. Click on the Bond
Program link to learn more about this
program.
