Movie Time Schedule

Movies are shown for children ages 5 and up.
Popcorn and drinks are served at every movie!
Parents may leave their children for
supervised movie time if desired. Photo I.D.
and a phone number where the parent can be
reached is necessary. For additional
details, please call 237-1345. Watch calendar
for movie times and titles.
Summer
Reading Club
The Summer Reading Club is designed to keep
children reading while they are out of school.
A child who continues to read will be less
likely to lose valuable reading skills over
the summer. Children who participate
must be age 5-18 and are required to have a
library card. For more about Summer
Reading Club 2008 and to register online,
please see the SRC 2008 Guidelines page
(coming in May). See the Youth Calendar
for June and July to view a list of
activities.
Super
Science Saturday (School Year)
The Children's and Youth Department of the
Longview Public Library offers Saturday
programming which meets the TEKS requirements
in science for grades 1-5. These
programs are offered once a month from 10:00-11:30 a.m. to enhance children's
learning experiences in science. This
program is offered free of charge; however, we
do request advance registration at the desk in
the Children's Department. A list of
topics will be posted during the school year.
