Novelist is a reader advisory service. It helps readers find books to read. It can be searched by author, title, and plot summary. It provides lists of books by awards and genre. Book discussion materials, book talk ideas, author interviews, and links to author pages are just a few of the additional services provided. When asked for a password, use your library card number. Use the Link from Library when at the Library and then no ID is required.
Online Book Clubs
Sign up for the Teen Book Club. You get to read the first couple of chapters of some great books. If you want to finish the book, come to the Library. If we do not have the book, we can request it from another library, or you can submit a Client Request. You will be notified when the item is added to the collection. This is just one of the Online Book Clubs available!
Audiobook Community is an online social networking site where those interested in audiobooks can connect and discuss all things audiobook. SYNC is a group just for YA audiobooks. Must be 13+ to join community. BONUS: Sync will feature two FREE audio literature downloads each week this summer from July 1-September 1, 2010! Check it out!

Recommended Graphic Novels for Libraries -- Put together by a Graphic Novel enthusiast, it provides lists of recommended titles and links to other Graphic Novels and Comic sites.

Christian Youth Magazines -- Resource to find quality Christian magazines that strive to help teens deal with tough issues
Daily Earth -- Read newspapers from around the world to find out what other countries consider important.
Teen Ink -- Magazine, blogs, book series and website written entirely by teens. An excellent resource for teen writers and artists.
